K - Tips
What is it?

Individual pieces of hair extensions are bonded with heat to the natural hair using keratin. The size of the bond can be customised depending on requirements. Can be worn for up to 3 months between refits depending on care.
Who is it suitable for?

Perfect for all clients except those with excessive heat or colour damaged hair. A great option for clients with fine hair.

As the bond can be customised, these are a perfect method for more challenging transformations
How long does it take to fit?

2-3.5 hours depending on the amount of hair required. Tiny bonds can take longer.
How long does the method last?
-
K-tips can stay in the hair between 3-4 months depending on natural hair growth. They then need to be removed and retipped - this can not be done on a same day refit and requires a week for them to be sent for retipping
Individual nano rings
What is it?
-
Nano rings are an individual strand method that is installed using tiny metal beads that are squeezed to hold the extension strand. You can create natural movement and have multiple colours added for the perfect blend.
Who is it suitable for?

Perfect for most clients looking to achieve extra length, thickness, or both.

A simple to look after method, and is a completely reusable method.

Endless colour combinations mean you can create a really bespoke look to compliment or change your overall look
How long does it take to fit?

1- 2 hours depending on the amount of hair required
How long does the method last?

We advise a maintenance appointment 6-8 weeks after initial fitting and a full refit appointment 6-8 weeks after the maintenance appointment to keep your natural hair safe and your scalp healthy.
T-Weave - exclusive to Electric Unicorn
What is it?

A Braidless sew in method, using micro rings similar to the LA weave but more secure, and much kinder to the scalp than the classic braided weave. A track is created on the natural hair and the weft extensions are secured to the track
Who is it suitable for?

Perfect for adding length and thickness to medium - thick hair.

A great option for clients new to extensions or who want a quick service.
How long does it take to fit?

30-60 minutes.

The amount of rows required varies depending on look desired
How long does the method last?

We advise regular tightening appointments every 6-8 weeks after initial fitting. Weft extensions are reusuable and can be reinstalled immediately as long as your natural hair and scalp are in a well looked after condition
Tape
What is it?
-
4cm strips of pre taped hair extensions placed so your natural hair is sandwiched between two sets.

Extremely flat and virtually undetectable

Who is it suitable for?

Perfect for all clients.

The best option for those with fine hair or people after a quick method!

Worth noting - removal can be sticky and leave residue.
How long does it take to fit?

45 minutes depending on the amount of hair required
How long does the method last?

We advise a removal/refit appointment approx 8-10 weeks after initial fitting. Tapes need to be removed, retaped and refitted, so refit appointments are longer than initial fitting.
Mago Knots
What is it?

An individual method that uses a climbing knot to safely secure to your natural hair

Straight, wavy and curly textures available
Who is it suitable for?

Perfect for most clients, although not for very fine hair.

A premium method that is available in straight, wavy and curly options

Those of you who prefer to purchase new hair more often for that luxury feel
How long does it take to fit?

1 - 3 hours depending on the amount of hair required
How long does the method last?
-
Mago knots can remain in the hair for 3-4 months depending on care and natural hair growth. Once the knot has been removed the hair can't be reinstalled so a brand new set will be required.
Shhh...unit
What is it?
-
Our unique meshless unit creates coverage on the crown to cover and disguise hair loss or thinning. We can fit this in several ways but we don't offer full head integration methods.
Who is it suitable for?
-
Clients who have thinning or hairloss that want to rebuild confidence, particularly at the crown of the head (but other options available)

Not suitable for people with very thick hair.
How long does it take to fit?
-
Around half an hour, including shaping and styling - although we don't rush this process
How long does the method last?
-
We advise a refit roughly every 4 weeks, it is strongly advised to also book in for a blow dry appointment at the same time to ensure your scalp is being cared for.
